Professional Golf Management - Business Administration Co-op

"My name is Brandon McLeod and I'm a first-year PGM student at Durham College."

"What I like best about my program so far - I would say is the teachers and the students. The teachers are there for us if we have any questions. The golf courses we take get really in depth on how a back shop and a front shop should be run. With our co-op program, they help us find our job and come and visit us throughout the summer."

Jim Hopps:
"The faculty in the PGM program are just wonderful. They are so dedicated and they work very hard to see our students be successful. They just don't do a nine to five job. Their doors are open for the students at any time."

Brandon McLeod:
"Anything that has to do with golf, I am really into. As well as the business side of things, I would like to become a head professional and eventually a director of golf one day or a GM. So learning the business side of the industry is something that I am really interested in. The employment rate coming out of this program is extremely high. It is well over 90 per cent and that just speaks volumes about how this program is turning out top-notch people for the industry. PGM at Durham College is such a good program and I think the sky is the limit!"
