Archives

General Description

The Durham College and U.O.I.T. Archives acquires College and University records that document the institutions' history, organization, structure, programs, functions and research. To support these records, those records of campus divisions and departments, the personal papers of individuals, and collections of material from other sources that document the life of the institutions may also be acquired.

The Archives Collection will contain both paper and digital records.

The acquisition of records is conducted through traditional archival practices and procedures adhering to the Archives Mandate and Acquisitions Policy. All acquisitions will be documented in formal donation agreements. All donated and transferred material will become the property of the Durham College and University of Ontario Institute of Technology Archives.

Patrons and researchers will adhere to the Archives Rules and Regulations Policy to access records.

The Archives is available by appointment only (extension 2399).
