Durham College of Applied Arts and Technology lends books and supplies photocopies of journal articles to other libraries. For our holdings check our Catalogue for books and Citation Locator for journal articles.
We will normally lend books free of charge from our circulating collection for three weeks from date of receipt, with no renewals. Reference and other non-circulating books as well as books housed at the reserve desk will not be loaned. Also, books currently in high demand by Durham College faculty and students may not be loaned. All loans are subject to recall.
We will not lend periodicals but we will send photocopies of articles subject to copyright limitations. This is normally done through regular mail.
Our video and DVD collection is in high demand for classroom use and is not available for interlibrary loan.
Requests must be submitted by contacting Jane.Dubis@dc-uoit.ca . Please provide your campus location on each request.
We will not accept requests by telephone. We do not provide rush service.
Charges: No charge to other Ontario Community Colleges for loans or photocopies; charges may apply to other institutions, charge details will be supplied before an item is shipped.
Not for Loan: Reserves, audio-visual material, and all non-circulating collections (e.g. reference, periodicals).
