Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is the process of requesting materials from other libraries. If the resource that you require is not available within the UOIT/Durham College Library in either paper or electronic format, an Interlibrary Loan will be done on your behalf. The loan period and conditions of use are determined by the library from which the material is borrowed. The timely return of borrowed material is essential to keeping our institution in good standing with other institutions so that they will continue to lend material to us. The ILL service is provided free of charge as currently the library will absorb the costs associated with it for Durham staff and students. Please be aware that failure to return a borrowed item may result in replacement charges to the borrower as determined by the lending library.
