The goal of the Accessibility Working Group is to continuously ensure that the educational environment on our shared campus is accessible for people who have disabilities (those who are blind or have low vision, are Deaf or hard of hearing, or have medical, physical, psychiatric, learning or cognitive disabilities.)
The Accessibility Award is given to leaders in the UOIT and Durham College community who adhere to best practices and/or who offer services that are inclusive to individuals living with a disability.
