Parental Participation

Provided that their presence does not disrupt the program, parents are welcome to visit at any time for a brief or extended period of time. All staff members are available on a daily basis to answer questions, address concerns, and discuss each child's involvement and progress. If issues arise that need to be discussed with your child's teacher, please schedule a meeting with the staff member after the shift finishes; this will help ensure that classroom schedules/ratios are not interrupted and discussions are not interrupted.

Parents are also encouraged to arrange individual meetings with the Centre Manager or specific teachers to discuss concerns. Parents are asked to give suggestions and to participate in the program if possible. We believe that parents who can take an active part in their child's pre-school education will better understand the benefits of this experience for their young children.
