To protect the child, information about dietary requirements and food allergies will be filed in the child's records for reference purposes and posted in the kitchen area and in each room at the centre where food is served. In the event that a significant number of children have dietary restrictions, parents may be required to provide a substitute.
For children diagnosed with severe allergies requiring immediate intervention:
- Parents must provide the necessary treatment/medication on a daily basis;
- The child will not be admitted into the Centre without the necessary treatment.
