The arrival routine should not be rushed. The following routine is suggested:
- It is strongly encouraged that children arrive at the centre by 9:00 a.m. in order to be able to participate in the activities;
- Parents should assist their children with their belongings in the cloakroom area;
- To reduce the spread of infection and disease, parents are asked to assist their children in washing their hands upon arrival at the centre; and
- Parents should then take their child to join his/her group and notify the staff member that the child is present.
