Contagious illness

Symptoms of a contagious illness include:
  • Diarrhoea (two abnormal stools in one day, watery or loose bowel movement that is unusual for that child);
  • Vomiting;
  • Common cold (swelling of nasal membranes, followed by a discharge which is watery or becomes thick and green);
  • Fever (temperature which is or has been above 38 degrees Celsius);
  • Unexplained or untreated rashes; and/or
  • Head lice and nits.
