The following routine is suggested when leaving:
- Whenever possible, parents should spend time in the Centre before leaving at the end of the day. This gives the child an opportunity to complete what he/she has been doing and to show the parent(s) items of interest;
- Parents must notify staff members that the child is leaving for the day; and
- Staff members may briefly describe the child's day and discuss pertinent information concerning the child or the Centre.
