Background
The Early Learning Centre Inc. is a non-profit childcare organization founded in 1985. The Early Learning Centre facility, located on the west side of the Simcoe Building, is a workplace childcare facility for children of staff and students on the Oshawa campus. The Centre was developed to meet the needs of children and to provide a placement site for Early Childhood Education (E.C.E.) students in training. The day care program also provides service for the community and operates an integrated program for children with special needs.
