IMPORTANT: Before implementing any use of the logo

Please download and view the Durham College Logo Standards Guide - PDF 230KB [This file will open in a new window]

The newly updated and approved logo for the college is available for download below. Please note that no modifications to the logo are permitted.

A brief explanation for each version of the logo is included - as well as an example of when and how you might use that particular version. If an alternate version is required, please contact communications@dc-uoit.ca.

  • RGB works best on the web, PowerPoint or for other multimedia presentations. Best for display on screens, but does not reproduce well in print.
BLACK - JPEG file 102KB [This file will open in a new window]
  • Same info applies as above, but the logo is in black.
CMYK - JPEG 825KB [This file will open in a new window]
NOTE: Right Click and Save Target As...
  • This is a high-resolution (though size is limited) digital CMYK JPEG for those who require a non-vector art logo. If the logo is going to be increased in size, you may want to send the EPS file. You are able to import this file into any documents that are being printed in colour on a laser or ink-jet printer.

TIFF versions:

BLACK - TIFF file 3.58MB [This file will open in a new window]
  • Black (Grayscale) TIFF version. This logo can be used in any documents that are being printed in black and white, on any black and white laser printer.
CMYK - TIFF 3.58MB [This file will open in a new window]
  • This is a high-resolution (though size is limited) digital CMYK TIFF for those who require a non-vector art logo. Optimized for print related documents that require 4-colour process. This version should be forwarded to anyone wanting a high-resolution version of the logo for printing things like magazines, newspapers, posters, or anything where there is a 4-colour printing process.
NOTE: TIFF files are generally used in place of .JPG files in print documents because they use less compression and reproduce better than JPG files.

EPS versions (Vector based):

BLACK (Vector) - EPS 520KB [This file will open in a new window]
  • This logo can be used in any documents that are being printed in black and white, on any black and white laser printer.

  • Same as above only it is a white version.
PANTONE - EPS (Vector) file 524KB [This file will open in a new window]
  • Contains the correct Pantone colours. Used for print materials to be published off campus. Keep them on file and forward it to any supplier who might need a large, high-resolution version for making things such as billboards, signs, flags, mugs etc. EPS files ensure a quality reproduction whenever a job is being produced off campus.
