Two or more words are hyphenated when they are used as an adjective and clarity is needed for the reader.
For example: She has a full-time job. Durham College offers state-of-the-art facilities; or
John Smith, a first-year Music Business Management student, chose Durham College because of its high graduate employment statistic.
Hyphens are not required after a word ending in ly.
For example: Durham College's professors are professionally experienced.
