The Durham College logo colours are PMS 341 C and black (100 K). Print jobs done in two colours must be printed using those colours.
Print jobs done in four colours must be printed in CMYK (four-colour process) equal to PMS 341 C (comprised of C 100, M 0, Y 67 and K 29) and black (100 K).
For print jobs done in one colour the logo should be printed in black (100 K) or white. For single colour applications where the logo is printed on a dark background (comprised of a colour field that is darker than 60 per cent of the value of the colour) the entire logo should be reversed to white.
For single colour applications where the logo is printed on a light background (comprised of a colour field that is lighter than 40 per cent of the value of the colour) the entire logo is printed in black.
A RGB colour scheme should be used for web, PowerPoint or multimedia presentations with a ratio of R 0, G 116 and B 84 used to achieve the Durham College green and a ratio of R 0, G 0, and B 0 used for black (100 K).
Please note that ink colours can appear differently on different types of paper (i.e. heavy, thin, textured, coated, uncoated, etc.). In addition, colour matching may not be available for items such as clothing (e.g. T-shirts, hats, etc.), therefore approval on colour selections must be given by the Communications + Marketing department.
Please note: To preserve the integrity of the logo in production, the electronic versions of the Durham College logo (available at www.durhamcollege.ca/logos) must not be altered in any way. The creation and use of alternative logos is strictly prohibited.
