Full-time employees taking university courses

Full-time staff who successfully complete a university course(s) are eligible to receive a reimbursement of 50% of the tuition fees paid. Employees may request to have the full tuition fees advanced with repayment of the employee portion arranged through payroll deduction. Supervisory approval is required prior to enrolling in the course and each employee is subject to an annual maximum.

The new Durham College policy effective May 1, 2006 is as follows:

All undergraduate and graduate degrees: 50% of tuition is reimbursed to a maximum of $3,000 per year for all courses leading to an undergraduate, master's or doctoral degree.

Two-year pilot project for full-time Durham College employees, effective May 1, 2006:

UOIT will waive the 50% tuition not covered by Durham College to all Durham College employees registered in a UOIT undergraduate degree program.
