Photo Identification

Multi-year

Campus Photo Identification cards are available to all staff. We strongly encourage all staff to obtain and wear their Campus Identification. Part-time, sessional or contract staff members may also obtain a Campus Identification card with the written confirmation of their employment from their immediate supervisor.

New Whitby Campus Staff Members

Staff will have on-campus ID services in the Skills Training Centre, near the beginning of the first week of the fall semester. A calendar of photo schedules for students and staff will be posted on the web sites, and MyCampus in mid-August.

All New Staff

Staff requiring their initial Campus Identification, may do so on any weekday by either visiting G1004 during the hours of operation, which are advertised on the websites each semester.

One piece of government-produced Photo Identification* must be presented to have your initial photo taken. In addition, it is advisable to bring proof of employment with you so that Campus ID staff can confirm employment and your Network Log On/Banner number. Throughout the year, Campus ID Services will be available from Room G1004. (Replacement cost of $10. must be prepaid in Accounting, Room SW116)

*Photo Identification

Examples of accepted positive identification include: current Driver's License, current Passport, or Citizenship Card. An Identification Form is available from the ID offices for those who do not possess any government produced forms of photo identification.

Smart/Proximity ID Cards

Staff who require controlled access cards (Prox Cards) are required to complete the "Security Access" form available from Facilities Management and Security. Bring the completed form to the ID office. (Replacement cost of $25. must be pre-paid in Accounting, Room SW116)

Clinical Badges

Clinical badges are also available for Faculty who support off-campus clinical teaching. (Replacement cost of $2. must be pre-paid in Accounting, Room SW116)

Multi-Year Cards

All Campus Identification Cards serve as 'multi-year' ID Card. In effect, any cards issued to replace a lost/stolen/damaged card, will not be reprinted until five years later. Staff are encouraged to have their card 'validated' (stamped) annually.

Flex Dollars

All staff will have the opportunity to open a Flex Dollar account with Chartwells Food Service on-campus. With a minimum $50 deposit into your account, you will reduce the need to carry cash for any food purchases made on-campus simply by swiping your Campus Identification Card at the cash register. You may increase the value of your account in increments of $50. Flex Dollar accounts may be arranged by making a payment in Accounting, and then take the receipt to the Chartwells office located in the Market Place Cafeteria.
