- Each examination room will have an invigilator and one or more assistants. A chief will be assigned to each exam held in the gym and the cafeteria. The chief is responsible for the overall control of examinations and for overseeing and controlling emergency situations. The chief is to ensure students leave the examination room immediately following their exam.
- One person from each school will be assigned to take the sealed examination bags to the examination room (one hour prior to the start of the examination for the gym/cafe, and 1/2 hour for other examination rooms).
- The chief will be given a seating plan for the gym/cafe. The invigilator is responsible for arranging the seating plan within any other examination room.
- Invigilators will check photo ID and obtain the signature of students sitting the examination. The lists are to be returned along with the completed examinations to the appropriate school office immediately upon completion of the examination. Note: Students are not required to initial the list when handing in their examination.
- The chief (gym/cafe) or invigilator (rooms) is responsible for taking appropriate action in the event of suspected cheating.
- Students must adhere to the criteria given in the "Examination Instructions for Students" memo.

If a student brings valuables to the exam room (laptop, purse, etc.) they are to be placed under the desk/table assigned to the student.
Please note: Students may not use cell phones during scheduled exams. Calculators and laptops may only be used when specified in the exam instructions.
Continuing Education
If there is an examination scheduled for your course, it will be written in-class during the final scheduled class. Faculty will be required to invigilate their exams. Examination Invigilation procedures will be provided to faculty by program officers.
