Campus Walk Program

During weeknights in the fall and winter semesters, trained Campus Walk teams will be available to accompany staff and students from building to building, parking lots or residences, and to other buildings and parking lots at the Oshawa and Whitby campuses.

Main Command Posts are located at both Security Offices at both campuses. Oshawa shifts which begin each September, operating from 7pm to 11pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and in addition, from 8pm to midnight on Wednesdays and Friday evenings. At the Whitby campus, shifts operate Monday to Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Requests can either be made at the Command Posts or call ahead to: Security @ Ext. 2400 or the Residences @ 905.728.8700 to be met at a specified location. You may also request this service at the Security desk in the Library in Oshawa. Please have Campus Identification ID ready. Security officers also compliment this service.
