The Durham College IT Operations Committee was formed to establish objectives and coordinate operational activities related to how Durham College wants to use information and communication technology in teaching, learning and entrepreneurial activities consistent with the IT vision and strategies established by the IT Strategy Board.
This committee will advise the ITS directors, School IT service administrators and the Innovation Centre director on institution-wide technology operational matters in relation to teaching, learning and entrepreneurial activities and will be a forum for the exchange of ideas for improving the utilization of the information technology resources.
This committee is expected to meet monthly during the academic year and selected summer months to ensure strong communication and coordination of all IT services.
