International Education

The Office of International Education was founded in 1995 with approximately ten students. Today, in 2008, the Office looks after a portfolio of students both domestic and abroad, from almost every continent on earth. The office is comprised of two areas of responsibility: Student Support and Retention, and Student Recruitment. Working cooperatively, these units are focused on ensuring the strategic recruitment of students to priority program areas is achieved, and that students and the campus community are supported effectively in addressing matters involving international students. The office also coordinates student life, student internship and other related matters, including liaison with academic schools regarding the needs of faculty and staff in working with international students.

The office is comprised of the International Education Officer and the International Student Support & Retention Officer, each of whom report to the director, International.
