We have prepared a package of information for new students with disabilities in order to assist you in accessing our services. You will find links below containing a list of information pertaining to the nature of your disability and the institution you are attending. Our packages are divided into two categories: a package for students with learning disabilities and/or AD/HD, as well as a package for those with physical, medical, psychiatric, cognitive or sensory disabilities.
As a new student with a disability, you have a responsibility to provide the CSD with a Pre-Intake Form (see links below), and the appropriate medical or psychological documentation. We encourage you to begin the process of obtaining documentation as early as possible. Once you have obtained your documentation and completed the Pre-Intake Form, we ask that you forward this information to our office and contact our office to set up an appointment with a Disability Advisor.
Our office is pleased to assist eligible students with the process of arranging a psycho-educational assessment including determining if funding is available. Obtaining an assessment can be a timely process, please contact our office as soon as you are accepted to a program to begin the next steps.
