I wish my parents knew...
...that I am going to be ok - that they taught me important values and lessons which I will use when faced with difficult situations
...that my schedule is going to be scattered and inconsistent so I may not be home for dinner
...how hard it is to be away from home
...that I am going to be busy with homework and that late nights are necessary
...that if they don't hear from me for a few days that it doesn't mean that something is wrong, just that I am busy doing my school work
...that sometimes I just need them to listen and not offer advice
...how hard it is to actual get home for a weekend
...the importance of seeing my friends when I came home to visit
...how much a message, phone call or care package means
...that I won't always be able to earn an "A" and that education is never a waste, all programs teach critical thinking, writing and analytical skills which are important to any profession
...that I miss them more than I let them know
