Be a LEADER

A student ambassador is a Durham College student who represents the college when speaking to various groups and individuals. These groups include prospective students and their parents, businesses, high schools and community organizations.

TYPICAL ROLES INCLUDE:
Group Tour Leader:

  • Leads campus tours, informs participants about the history and current benefits of each area
  • Customer service representative
  • Makes calls to prospective students providing current program details and changes.

EVENT STAFF:

  • Assists with tours, helps the marketing department with event set-up and clean-up.
  • Student Ambassadors must exhibit the highest level of respect, integrity and professionalism.
