Your first set of mid-terms will be occurring shortly. Mid-terms are an important measurement of your understanding of the course. The weighing of your mid-terms often contributes significantly to your overall grade. It is important to understand that this evaluation of your knowledge can assist you with determining whether you should seek help. In order to be prepared for mid-terms it is important to keep up with your reading and other assigned work. It is common for students to have a decrease in grades compared to high school, even when they are entirely committed to their program. This is an opportunity for you to evaluate your ability to grasp course material and consider seeking academic support. If you find that your grades are lower than you would like, do not worry there are quite a number of places where you can seek assistance with study help, exam preparation and general advice inquiries at any point in the year.
