You start the month off completing courses, assignments and writing final exams. December can be a busy month and it is important to get lots of rest, eat properly and exercise to remain sharp for your exams. In the midst of this very busy time remember that December brings the end of your first semester in college and this is something for you to be very proud of.

Thankfully, the month of December ends with a much needed and well deserved holiday break, which is a time for you to reconnect with family and friends. You may find yourself with a very busy social schedule as friends and family members vie for your time. In addition, family members may need to adjust to your having lived as an adult for the past few months and it may take time for you to renegotiate expectations. Communicating in advance about expectations and holiday schedules can help ensure everyone enjoys the holidays.
