January 2009 - Returning to campus

Welcome back to campus for your second semester. With a new year and semester ahead of you this is a good time to reflect on the previous term and determine which activities and habits you will continue and determine the changes you are going to make for the new semester. Last semester was a time of change; a different school environment and classes, a change in learning strategies, new friends and support systems and possibly even a new home. Your experiences over the last semester have prepared you for your return to campus and you may even find that as you arrive back at Durham College and reconnect with friends, you feel like you are returning home .

Reflecting on the past semester

Take a moment to reflect on what you have learned, what you have enjoyed, what you will continue to do that worked last semester and what changes you will make for the upcoming year.
