Hired Career Services provides assistance with applying for jobs, career planning, job search skills as well as researching career information. An advisor can help you assess your current situation, strengths and interests and provide guidance in setting your career goals and plans. Career assessment and exploration tools include the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Career Cruising. You can benefit from these services by clarifying your career options and expectations and learning the skills necessary to successfully manage your personal career development.
Job vacancies and internship opportunities from employers across Ontario and beyond are advertised on the exclusive Hired Career Services portal which provides you with access to career-related events, employer links and online job postings. You can also use the online portal to book appointments with advisors and register for employer recruitment sessions, on-campus interviews, the JobWatch system and workshops. In addition, students and graduates can create online resumés and portfolios for registered employers to search.
As a graduate, you can also seek advice from Hired Career Services free of charge for up to one year after graduation.
