The Campus Health Centre is committed to providing you with the highest level of service. Whether you have a health emergency, a concern about nutrition, muscle strains and pains or a bad case of the flu, you can expect care dispensed by health professionals who are accessible, concerned and friendly.

The Campus Health Centre provides numerous confidential health-care options including:
  • A medical clinic with daily access to physician and nursing staff;
  • Allergy injections, immunizations and influenza injections;
  • An on-site laboratory (blood work, STI testing, throat swabs, etc.);
  • Complementary Health Services featuring acupuncture, chiropractic, custom orthodics, massage  therapy, nutritional counselling and physical therapy;
  • Gynecological health-care and prescriptions; and
  • Treatment of disease, illness and injury.
There is also a variety of preventive health education services including resources in a variety of languages, such as books, bulletin boards, health newsletters, pamphlets and web resources.

If you require assistance dealing with depression, family problems, relationship issues or other personal problems, a team of counselling and health-care professionals is available to provide discussion, education, referrals, support and therapy.

We have a variety of student health education teams that are run out of the Campus Health Centre. Leave The Pack Behind (LTPB) is a comprehensive, peer to peer student group that promotes smoking cessation and change in social policy. The Sexual Health Resource Centre (SHRC) is a volunteer team of students that provide sexual health resources and informal education to fellow students.

The Campus Health Centre also has an on-site pharmacy that dispenses prescription medications and honours the Student Insurance Plan. The centre provides students with a variety of placement and volunteer opportunities.
