The Dental Clinic offers dental examinations and cleaning to clients aged five years and older. Services are provided by Durham College Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene students under the supervision of teaching staff. The clinic operates from September to April. There is a fee of $25 for adults and $10 for children. A commitment of time is required.
Services include:
- Cleaning of teeth (scaling and polishing);
- Examinations/X-rays (if required);
- Fluoride treatments;
- Oral hygiene instruction; and
- Pit and fissure sealants.
The Dental Clinic does not provide emergency treatment, extractions or fillings; however, results of any findings may be forwarded to a dentist of your choice.
