GPS in-person

  • Students design their day by selecting what they want to do;
  • Variety of interest sessions available throughout the day;
  • Free time to complete college business or visit a specific service area;
  • Pick up a campus identification card* ;
  • Purchase a parking pass;
  • Meet new friends prior to the start of classes;
  • Take a campus tour;
  • Attend the complimentary barbecue lunch; and
  • Students in a mobile learning program may pick up their laptop.
*campus identification card is a valuable and required piece of identification for Durham College students. Once students have obtained their campus identification card, they will be able to start using the Campus Health Centre, the Learner Support Centre and all athletic and recreation centres including our state of the art Flex Centre.

*Laptop computer pick-up is only available on August 15 and 22.

GPS online

This program allows you to complete the majority of your college business prior to September with the exception on picking up your campus identification card and laptop computer for students in mobile learning programs.

GPS online provides students with the opportunity to:
  • Virtually navigate through the campus and its services;
  • Complete their college business at their convenience;
  • Purchase their parking pass, locker and books online;
  • Learn more about campus student resources;
  • Arrange housing;
  • Pay their tuition and learn more about Financial Aid and Awards
  • Setup their MyCampus account;
  • Register for a mentor; and
  • Plan for success in their first year of college from the comfort of their own home.
In addition to all the information available online, first-year students will have the opportunity to ask current Durham College students any questions they have about first year by e-mailing askmeiamorange@durhamcollege.ca through our Ask Me I'm Orange program.
