Creativity is the key

June 15, 2004

Oshawa, Ont. - Creative minds need nurturing, and they'll find no shortage of inspiration at two summer programs being offered this year by Durham College. Summer Shorts and the School of Rock 'n' Roll will give young artists the ability to work with great tools, to practice with studio pros, creators and musicians, and to enjoy an amazing summer experience.

The courses are geared towards providing a truly authentic arts, music or performance experience. Students have access to fully equipped studios, state-of-the-art technology, instruments and materials, giving them an extra edge in expressing themselves. Fundamental skills will be taken to new heights during these exciting, one-week workshops.

If you've got a budding artist, photographer, actor, dancer, writer, animator, filmmaker or musician in the family, don't miss out!

For workshop and registration information, call 905.721.3111 ext. 2159, or visit the program websites at dca.durhamc.on.ca/summershorts or www.durhamcollege.ca/rockcamp.

Watch for us at the Oshawa Centre on June 26 and 27 and Canada Day celebrations, July 1 at Lakeview Park in Oshawa.
