OSHAWA, Ont. - The Durham College and University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) Campus Tennis Centre is hosting two tennis workshops for children - Junior Tennis Clinics and High Performance Clinics - beginning January 3 and 4. The 10-week workshops are for individuals aged four to 17.
Junior Tennis Clinics are designed for those with beginner to advanced skill levels, and each instructor works with a group of six.
High Performance Clinics are for advanced individuals and include a maximum of four children per court with one coach for the first 90 minutes of each lesson. The ratio may be higher for the last 30 minutes of lessons when match points are played.
The registration deadline is December 31. Forms are available from the Campus Tennis Centre by calling 905.721.3122. A membership is not necessary to enrol.
The Campus Tennis Centre is located on the north side of Conlin Road, just west of the intersection of Simcoe Street and Conlin Road in Oshawa.
