Fun abounds for kids at March break camp

February 22, 2001

Kids who might lament, "There's nothing to do!" will find plenty of fun and engaging activities at Durham College's very first March break camp.

Created for six- to nine-year-olds, the camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, March 12 to Friday, March 16 inclusive, at the college's Oshawa campus on Simcoe Street North. After-camp care will be made available until 5 p.m. if there is enough demand.

Campers will learn about music, drama, science, visual arts, construction and cooking from an ECE-qualified instructor. Children will also be able to flex their muscles and imaginations outdoors each day through special activities.

For more information or to register your child, call the college's Continuous Learning department at 905-721-3052.
