Durham College is hosting a news conference on Friday to outline plans for the $28.75 million it will receive in SuperBuild funding. Yesterday, the provincial government informed Durham and the other GTA colleges and universities of the funds they will receive through SuperBuild.
The Ontario government announced last year that it would allocate $742 million to colleges and universities to expand and upgrade facilities. The SuperBuild initiative was set up to help post-secondary institutions prepare for fall 2003, when Grade 12 and OAC graduates will be entering colleges and universities at the same time.
