Durham College is looking for nominees for its 1999 Alumni of Distinction Awards. Candidates should be post-secondary graduates who have been successful in their careers and who have contributed to the college and/or the community.
Four awards will be presented, one for each of the college's post-secondary divisions: Arts & Administration, Business, Health & Human Studies, and Technology.
To nominate an individual, the person's name and profile, including their contributions to the college and/or their community, should be sent in writing to the alumni office at the college (P.O. Box 385, Oshawa, ON L1H 7L7). Supporting documents such as letters of recommendation should be included. Nominations must be received by 4 p.m. on April 20.
Alumni of Distinction Awards will be presented at the college's convocation ceremonies on June 18 at the Civic Auditorium.
