Individuals interested in helping create a chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) in Durham Region are invited to attend an information session on Monday, June 21, 1999. The session gets under way at 6:30 p.m. and it will be held at Durham College's Skills Training Centre, 1610 Champlain Avenue, Whitby.
PMI is a non-profit, professional organization dedicated to promoting leading-edge techniques in project management. It was established in 1969 and its headquarters are located in Newton Square, Pennsylvania. PMI chapters are involved in a range of activities including education and training, PMI certification, meetings and presentations, local and international symposiums, and networking for members.
