In keeping with the practice of promoting Durham College's job-ready graduates, an invitation is extended to all employers to participate in "Career Fair '98". This proactive networking event is to be held in the Gymnasium of Durham College on Wednesday, March 25, 1998 from 10 am to 3 pm.
Whether you have jobs today or jobs in the future, Durham College graduates want to know more about potential careers in your organization. They are eager to present their resumes and discuss their practical work experience.
Participating employers will benefit greatly from "Career Fair '98". This event is aggressively promoted to approximately 1500 qualified candidates from 54 post-secondary programs. By meeting the graduates from Business, Technology, Computers and Health sectors, you will be able to market and promote your company to a targeted group of applicants. In doing this, you will reduce your time, effort and recruitment costs.
"Durham College's market driven programs train graduates that are job-ready on day one," stated Margaret Greenley, Director, Career and Employment Services. "They graduate with the technical and employability skills required to compete in today's labour market. In fact, we are so confident in our graduates' abilities, we offer an Employer Guarantee."
