Durham College Receives Two Awards at the LERN International Conference

Durham College's Continuous Learning department received two awards at the LERN International Conference in Chicago, December 5-7, 1996, in the International Awards division.

In competition with school boards, private schools, college's and universities worldwide at the International Awards Competition Continous Learning proudly walked away with two prestigious honours.

Continuous Learning received an award for excellence in Programming and a second award for excellence in Community Service. "We take great pride in our accomplishments at the conference and continue to strive for excellence in all our areas by providing programs and subjects that our students need to meet their career goals and general interest," commented Donna Crawford, Director of Continuous Learning.
