Durham College Oshawa Campus is now offering to the region's employers a new "Summer Job Services" program. The program is designed to help local businesses find the appropriate summer student, while receiving a $2.00 per hour subsidy. In order for a business to be eligible, it must be a registered business in Ontario. Employers may identify youth that they wish to hire or request that the available positions be posted for participating students.
"Durham College is pleased to be working with local agencies to provide this valuable service to employers and youth in our community," stated Lynda Sauriol, Director, Student Services, Business and Skills Development, Durham College.
