OSHAWA, Ont. - Durham College students and faculty will return to classes on Monday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 28, following the end of a province-wide college faculty strike which began on March 7.
All full-time day programs at the Oshawa campus will resume on Monday, March 27, and all full-time day programs at the Whitby campus will resume on Tuesday, March 28, as previously scheduled. Continuing Education classes offered at both the Oshawa and Whitby campuses will resume on Tuesday, March 28, as previously scheduled.
"Durham College has great faculty and we are thrilled to have them return to the classroom where they belong," said Dr. Gary Polonsky, president of Durham College. "Students are our focus and now we can turn our full attention to helping them complete their semester."
