Leah Myers to welcome Durham College class of 2006 at first convocation as president

OSHAWA, Ont.
- Over 2,000 students will cross the proverbial stage to accept their diplomas this Friday as Durham College celebrates spring convocation and Leah Myers delivers her first message to graduates as president.

Join faculty, staff, family, friends and members of the community as the outstanding accomplishments of students from the Schools of Health, Human Studies, Justice, Integrated Studies, Skilled Trades, Apprenticeship, Emergency Services, Information Technology, Business, Applied Sciences, Technology, Design and Communication Arts, along with students from Business and Industry Development Services are recognized at three separate convocation ceremonies.

When:
Friday, June 16, 2006

Time:
9:30 a.m. - Students from the Schools of Health, Human Studies and Justice to graduate.
1:30 p.m. - Students from the Schools of Integrated Studies, Skilled Trades, Apprenticeship, Emergency Services and Business and Industry Development Services to graduate.
5:30 p.m. - Students from the Schools of Business, Information Technology, Applied Sciences, Technology, Design and Communication Arts to graduate.

Enter off of Simcoe Street and proceed to the Founders 3 parking lot.
