The Port Hope Job Connect team was named winner of the Council's Choice Award at the recent 11th annual Port Hope Business Excellence Awards dinner, hosted by the Port Hope and District Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards Committee.
The team received the award from Port Hope Mayor Linda Thompson and council in recognition of its contribution to the Northumberland community both through partnerships and service. Job Connect staff noted it was both a surprise and an honour to be chosen unanimously by council.
